What is the difference between Open and Closed Colon Hydrotherapy?

The open system is self administered and private. This machine is recommended for anyone looking for privacy, constipated or new to colon hydrotherapy.

The closed system is done by a colon therapist. Unlike the open system, when you have the urge to push you are not able to. This system is suggested after you have had several sessions with the open system.

What is the colon?

It is important to take your pro-biotic and drink plenty of fluids after your session.

People are saying that Colon Hydrotherapy washes out intestinal flora and valuable nutrients. Is that true?

Colon Hydrotherapy washes out bad bacteria and some good bacteria, if any at all. Good bacteria can only breed in a clean environment, which has been washed free of putrefaction and it’s accompanying harmful bacteria. After each treatment, you are cleaning out toxic garbage and making a better environment for the flora, they start multiplying in a clean environment. After each treatment, it is highly suggested you take a good pro-biotic.

How long does a colonic last?

Anywhere from 45-50 minutes. During that time 20-30 gallons of purified filtered water will flush toxins and fecal matter out of the colon.

How do I prepare for a colonic?

Do not eat 2-3 hours prior to treatment, drink plenty of water and make a bowel movement prior to your appointment if needed. It is important that your body is not digesting food during your treatment, as this could make you very nauseous. Relax, think positive and look forward to a fantastic outcome ☺
